To those who don’t know me, my name is Hamed and I’ve been a professional writer for about 4 years now. (In the last year, I’ve been doing professional photography as well.) But in these 4 years, I’ve written in Farsi (Persian) because my main audience -like my self- is in Iran and doesn’t know English very well. And although I’ve created content in English for brands before, I hadn’t thought about starting an English section in my own personal blog.
So why now?
Basically, things change! There are topics that I wanna write about but the target audience for these, are not my usual base. For example, as an Iranian there are things that I wish to say to the outside world and for this purpose, I need to write in English.
And then, there are the ambitions and aspirations of a typical writer! We all want to reach as many people as possible. And we want to make a living, doing what we love.
To reach these goals -or at least make the road ahead a bit easier- I felt the need to start writing in English more.
I still don’t know how often I’m gonna post in this section. But I know that I’ll be making an effort to become more of a multilingual blogger.
